Daddy's An Artist!

We are still getting ready for halloween despite the snow that continues to fall. The storm is helping Patrick to be very busy at work. He was home late, ate, carved pumpkins with the kids and was off to work again. Kael is thrilled to have another Dora item to add to his collection.... I dread having to toss it out when it begins to smell.... he is going to hate me! For now, here is the work of our household artiste! (Not poor quality picture, it is actually dark in the kitchen when I took this so... not bad) Special thanks to our amazing neighbors for their inspiration and use of carving tools. Another update coming soon.....

Here We Are! October 24, 2006

Well, with all the craziness in our lives and the lack of time to share with others, I thought I'd give this blog thing a try.
It is October 24, almost midnight and everyone is in bed... alass, I have time for myself. My day will begin again in less than 7 hours when my daycare children arrive at our door. Ella still doesn't sleep her nights so I rarely get more than 4 hours. We've started to dilute her formula during the night feedings so that eventually when it is just water, she won't bother wanting to get up for it.... that is the plan.... though with her, one never knows.
Patrick just started his new job and seems to be fitting it together just fine. Strange to see him carry a briefcase to work but great all the same. (Supervisor within the Central Regional Health Care Authority for those of you who didn't know yet).
Kael is well, still obsessed with Dora the Explorer and has about 20 words in his vocabulary. Thus far, most of them are french. We both speak to him only in French, but he hears English during day care hours and at play group when we attend. The other children are going home with french words which parents think is great.
Enough for now, signing out with just a few minutes before I turn into a pumpkin.
